FCRA PROJECT: INNOVATIVE LIBRARIES PREPARING CHILDREN AND YOUTH FOR THE FUTURE.

Over 85% of the world’s young people live in
developing or transition economy countries. EIFL’s Public Library Innovation
Programme (EIFL-PLIP) invites public and community libraries in these countries
to apply for grants to develop new services that use information and
communication technologies in new and creative ways to serve the needs of children
and youth.
The grant
You can apply for a grant of up to US$20,000.
Who can apply?
Public and community libraries in developing

The project you are
applying for must :
> Take an innovative approach to meeting
the needs of children and youth, and
> Use digital technology in new and
creative ways, and
> Work in partnership with government
departments or agencies, civil society organizations or technology innovators.
