	Description	:	The objective of the scheme is to provide assistance to voluntary organisations to cover a wide spectrum of programme areas for tackling social problems for meeting the needs of client groups which are currently not covered by any of the existing schemes of Ministry of Women and Child Development including Central Social Welfare Board. Allocation for this schemes for the 12th five year plan is Rs. 12 Crores and allocation for financial year 2013-14 is Rs.3 Crores

How to avail
	Eligibility Criteria	:	Grants can be given to Voluntary Organisations/Institutions, Universities, Research Institute. The Oragisation should have experience in working in that programme or related areas etc
	How to avail	:	Normally through State Govts. In the Normally through State Govt. In the case of National organisations the Govt. may entertain an application directly and obtain the recommendations of the State/UTs where the voluntary organisation proposed to have the activities.
