FCRA PROJECT
FCRA PROJECT: FAMILY CARE FOUNDATION GRANTS
Deadline: 31.12.2014
The
Grant Process
Family Care Foundation (FCF) provides funding for
its pre-selected FCF Project Partners. Due to limited resources, coupled with
unlimited potential requests, Family Care Foundation does not
accept unsolicited proposals or grant applications.
Becoming qualified and receiving funding via Family Care Foundation is
a two-step process:
1. To qualify as a Project Partner of Family Care Foundation, as
part of our MSHSP relief and development network, applicants must first present their
projects via a standardized application that is evaluated by foundation staff.
If determined that the applicant project fits within the exempt purposes of Family
Care Foundation, field representatives become part of the further
evaluation process. We rely upon an international network of advisors to
personally seek out and evaluate remarkable grassroots organizations that come
to our attention. Our model is based upon personal relationship and trust to
assure that all selected projects meet high standards of accountability. If
approved, applicants become a Project Partner of Family Care Foundation and
are eligible to receive funding from FCF for their projects. Family Care
Foundation does not otherwise accept unsolicited proposals or grant
applications.
2. As a 501c3 public charity, Family Care Foundation receives
cash and in-kind contributions and grants from individuals, corporations, and
foundations. Donors may make undesignated gifts to Family Care Foundation's
general fund, or they may recommend one or more FCF Project Partners for
funding. Alternately, donors may request that their gift be directed toward a
specific area of interest, such as services to youth at
risk, disaster relief, etc.
